The Corporate Business Analyst analyzes and interprets data and provides valuable insights to support strategic business decisions. Collaborating with various departments, the Business Analyst identifies areas for improvement, develops actionable recommendations, and plays a key role in the implementation of business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis:

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to business operations, market trends, and financial performance.
    • Utilize statistical techniques and tools to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data.
  2. Financial Modeling:

    • Develop financial models to assess the impact of various business decisions and scenarios.
    • Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  3. Reporting:

    • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement.
    • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Requirements Gathering:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new projects, systems, or processes.
    • Ensure that proposed solutions align with business goals and objectives.
  5. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains across various business functions.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor process enhancements.
  6. Risk Analysis:

    • Conduct risk assessments and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management initiatives.
  7. Strategic Planning:

    • Contribute to the development of corporate strategies by providing insights based on data analysis.
    • Collaborate with executives and department heads to align business initiatives with overall corporate objectives.
  8. Communication:

    • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and drive consensus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a business analyst, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, business intelligence tools).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
