Technical Account Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our EMEA team in London as a Technical Account Manager, with a focus on institutional and retail brokers. This position will be responsible for installation and on-boarding of new customers and the support and maintenance of our existing client base.
Our client is a global financial technology and software company, established in 1993. They offer best-in-class technology to institutional and retail brokers, asset managers, hedge funds, as well as global and local banks.
Key responsibilities:
- Understand and communicate solutions and offerings to internal and external audience
- Being able to assist in the pre-sales process handling demos and product walk-throughs for prospects
- Working with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to deploy new client installations and support existing client implementations.
- Helping support our expanding client base of MT4 and MT5 brokers
- Onboarding functions will cover confirming the liquidity, STP, creating organization and user accounts, configuration, product training, answering client questions, coordinating test trades, etc.
- Assist in setting up solutions in both test and production environments, ensuring successful completion and positive impact on customer business
Perform ongoing operational support and maintenance of customer setups
Knowledge / Experience:
- Academic Degree in technical or financial field
- Knowledge of the MT4/MT5 server administration
- Knowledge of trading and aggregation engines, bridges and gateways
- Knowledge of back-office workflow and STP processing including FIX messaging protocol
- Knowledge of financial markets, how they work and Brokers / Traders workflow with specific emphasis on FX and CFDs
- Experience working with and supporting a Sales organization
